Studio rates, terms and conditions

The fees for hiring the studio (which includes me as the engineer) are as follows:

15.00 p/h for tracking with 20 min. increments after the first hour and a minimum charge equivalent to one hour, i.e. up to 60m = 15.00, 61m - 80m = 20.00, 81m - 100m = 25.00, etc.
60.00 to mix a song/track up to three mixes (e.g. vocal, instrumental and a cappella) + another 30.00 each for any subsequent remixes or re-edits.

These rates will only apply in situations where I'm not collaborating or otherwise credited/involved with the project. Regarding the mix fee, this is dependent upon the client's satisfaction with the mix(es) and in cases where the mix that I provide is deemed not acceptable, I'll erase it from my hard drive and waive the fee.

Discounts are available for block bookings - please contact me for more details.

Other services include the purchase of beats/tracks; pre-made beats, tailored pre-made beats, commissioned beats (i.e. made to your specification to fit your lyrics/melody) or full-blown production including tracking, mixing and pre-mastering (although I recommend that mastering takes place at a specialist mastering house). You will have licence to use these beats/tracks exclusively but I retain the rights to them in terms of copyright, publishing, etc. Prices vary, so again, please contact me for details.

Whilst I'm happy to take on any project I'd advise any potential clients to seek out specially equipped mastering facilities to get their mixes mastered and, therefore, encourage them to include a separate amount in their budgets for that process.

The above fees are subject to change and if/when this occurs this document will be updated and notice given to regular clients in advance.
